If you’re planning your summer holiday at the Russo Palace Hotel, there’s a special event we highly recommend to experience the most authentic, friendly, and relaxed side of Venice Lido: I Luni dell’Antico Borgo, a series of sunset aperitifs held in the charming Corte degli Agrumi at the nearby Relais Alberti, in the historic village of Malamocco.
It’s the perfect opportunity to enrich your stay with a moment of tradition, music, and slow living — in true Venetian style.
A dive into old Venice
Inspired by the ancient “Luni del Lio”, popular celebrations that once lit up summer Mondays in the 18th-century Lido and lagoon islands, I Luni dell’Antico Borgo bring back the simple, joyful spirit of those festive evenings. Back then, locals would gather outdoors after the heat, dancing and singing in fields, orchards, or by the sea. Today, that atmosphere is reimagined with elegance and charm, amid the scents of citrus, soft lights, and refined music selections.
What awaits you at Relais Alberti
Every Monday, from June 23 to August 25, starting at 7:30 PM, the Corte degli Agrumi becomes a magical setting of beauty and conviviality:
- Fresh cocktails and Venetian cicchetti will welcome you into a fragrant, secluded garden — ideal for unwinding at sunset.
- A live DJ set will accompany the toasts, chats, and relaxed mood of a true Venetian summer night.
- A limited number of guests ensures an intimate, peaceful experience in pure “slow” style.
The evening costs €20, including one cocktail and a selection of cicchetti. Additional drinks are available à la carte.
Reservations are required. Entry is from Fondamenta della Madonna, at the rear of Relais Alberti.
