The atmosphere on the Lido of Venice is about to change. It’s the sign that the Venice International Film Festival is back: from August 27 to September 6, 2025, the Lido once again becomes the world capital of cinema.

An Edition Not to Be Missed
This year’s opening film is La grazia, the new work by Paolo Sorrentino, starring Toni Servillo and Anna Ferzetti. An intense, poetic film that promises to leave a mark and will kick off ten days of screenings, red carpets, and unforgettable encounters.
The program is rich and international: among the most awaited titles are Frankenstein by Guillermo del Toro, Bugonia by Yorgos Lanthimos, After the Hunt by Luca Guadagnino, along with new works by beloved directors such as Jim Jarmusch, Kathryn Bigelow, Noah Baumbach, and many more.
